Park homes are timber-framed, lightweight and built to a different standard from bricks-and-mortar housing. They lose heat quickly, are prone to condensation and are often heated with expensive LPG or electric systems. The good news is that the right measures, particularly external wall insulation and underfloor insulation, make a dramatic difference, and park homes are eligible for several funding schemes.
